@thefingerfuckingfemalefury but he’s a bat Faunus, why does he specifically want them to eat his poo?
I think its just suppose to mean “eat shit” but Batman has to make everyting bat-themed no matter how silly it comes off
the thing about Spock is, like, whenever he comes in for a checkup or whatever, McCoy’s all like “god these readings are so fucked but that’s normal for you so… carry on i guess”
but unless I’m wrong about this (and I could be, i’m not That Deep into the lore yet) Spock is one of the first (if not the first) documented Vulcan-Human hybrid to survive into adulthood? so there actually isn’t an established normal for him. like you can take all the readings you want when he’s at rest and seems to be in good health and extrapolate from those, you can make predictions based on the norms of Vulcan anatomy and human anatomy, but there’s so much range between the two and so little precedent that there are bound to be unknowns
like
spock has two sets of eyelids and no one else knew about this until he temporarily went blind. if an entire second set of eyelids could come as a surprise just imagine what else is going on under the surface. there are so many question marks here.
i feel like this is what McCoy thinks about at 3am
McCoy like “No, Spock is not my friend, yes, I have a three terabyte folder dedicated to health theories about him.”
I’m a little bit convinced that this is part of why Spock is Like That about personal information and medical treatment. He is Scientifically and Medically Significant, so logically, on the hand opposite the xenophobes, there should be a bunch of nerds scientists/doctors out there in the Federation who would give up a limb just to wave a tricorder over Spock and get an in-depth look at his WEIRD, WEIRD BIOLOGY. There must have been distant relations and family acquaintances on little Spock’s birthdays (until he could grow up and start concealing the existence of his birthday) who were genuinely (horribly) like, “Congratulations on still being alive! Wow!”
#I’m convinced amanda and sarek should have been on the edge of helicoptering #and so spock is like ‘time to join starfleet and run away from doctors if I die I die’
Shit so it’s actually like
Spock, stiffly: I presume you have questions.
McCoy: About what. Never mind, I don’t care. Get out of my med bay.
Spock:
Spock: Jim, we have to keep this man at all costs.
Later he will learn that not having read the science journal entries about him does not correlate with an unwillingness to actively hunt him down with a tricorder, but that is later.
Edit: the title for this comic is “Puzzle Rat”
this one’s a few days late due to having a lot of doctors appointments sorry
it’s just 9 pages, and about some rats… it’s more symbolic than anything really
(it’s completely unrelated to any of my songs that have to do with “puzzleboy”)

I love everything about this.
Trans people deserve the same freedoms of gender expression as cis people.
If cis men can wear skirts, dresses, jewellery and makeup and still be considered men, so can trans men.
If cis women can have short hair, not shave or wear makeup and wear suits and still be considered women, so can trans women.
To all the trans people reading this, I hope you have a wonderful day and know that you are loved
I love how all of the Batman villains are like “ah he’s not at the manor, it’s defenseless! and then alfred just racks an AK-47 and is like pull up bitch
Batman’s Villains: The butler will be easy prey!
He’s just an old man...he doesn’t have any of the Batman’s gadgets or training or fighting skills!
Alfred: Oh my you’re right
There’s something else of Master Bruce’s I don’t have as well
(Cocks a shotgun) A CODE AGAINST KILLING
Alfred is the original “Call an ambulance --- but not for me”
@dragonpuppies I spent way too long on this

I’m sorry you’ve been made to believe that the whole of Africa is poor, I really am..
Reblogging for those of you who think Africa is only what the media and movies portrays it to be
This fucks me up because it’s scary to think that we can be showed something all our lives and not even know it’s a lie
And that my friend is the power of propaganda, indoctrination, and media
Are these pictures of South Africa or of Africa as a whole?
@the-collecting-turnip From top to bottom:
1. Port Elizabeth (South Africa)
2. Unknown
3. Nairobi (Kenya)
4. Pretoria (South Africa)
5. Aburi Botanical Gardens (Ghana)
6. Cape Town (South Africa)
7. Pretoria (South Africa)
8. Harare (Zimbabwe)
9. Windhoek (Namibia)
10. Windhoek (Namibia)
To @kushandwizdom this is a rather unfair portrayal of Africa as a whole since half of these are literally just South Africa. So Instead to add to this post and better dispel the myth of Africa as the vast wasteland of poverty most people think, I found a much more mixed collection of pics from various countries.
Luanda, Angola

Agadir, Morocco

Lagos, Nigeria

Cairo, Egypt

Port Louis, Mauritius

Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire

Algiers, Algeria

Tripoli, Libya

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Tunis, Tunisia

So, there, a much better case demonstrating the various major cities around Africa showing it isn’t some technologically backwards continent, but actually pretty up-and-coming in the world of commerce.
I once was talking to my Ethiopian manager about ignorant people asking her dumb shit about her life before she moved to the states…
the worst story she told me about was when she told a fellow student (at a fairly prestigious university) about a concert she went to back home. The other student responded with “omg you have music there!?” 🤦🏾♀️
Rebloging, because we need to see these pictures.
As for stupid questions: “do you have grocery stores in Ecuador?”
These are great!
A redneck neighbor once asked my mom (in the 80s) if they had cars in Peru. Sigh.
This is the product of poor world history in school & little current affairs coverage outside Western Europe, except for catastrophes, so all we see are the war torn, poverty stricken, disaster-affected parts on the news. And racism, of course.
I bet most Americans who think that African countries are just completely poverty stricken have no idea what the US looks like in its poorest areas, not everywhere in the US is nice suburbs or unrealistically large apartments on tv
Los Angeles, California

Hartford, Connecticut

New Orleans, Louisiana

Camden, New Jersey

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

McDowell County, West Virginia

Flint, Michigan

Washington, D.C.

This photoset proves you can make anywhere look great or terrible. It’s all framing and more people should know about that
Worth a reblog. I don’t think the US version was on there when I first reblogged.
